On May 23, 2016, Jamestown Officer Ryan Bourque was struck and killed by an impaired driver.

To honor Officer Bourque and all victims of impaired driving, the Jamestown Police Department created an Officer Ryan Bourque Memorial patch sticker. The sticker will be displayed on the back of marked police cars throughout Rhode Island and will be available for purchase throughout the month of May.
